Accent is designed to manage the training, education and ongoing career progression of the public sector workforce, all from one digital dashboard. Accent enables organisations to establish training curricula that is linked to core competencies, the management or programmes and posts, as well as budget and training approval administration. This is all accessed from an intuitive dashboard that provides easy access to frequently used functions, with role-based user access control.
Accent facilitates a comprehensive multi-professional dataset of the workforce that is both secure and readily accessible to users. Personal, contact, demographic, work, and equality and diversity data are all viewable – in addition to qualifications, accreditations, exam and course history – to provide a full understanding of employees. As well as oversight of personnel, Accent enables the management of HR functions – including employment contract management, placement management and leave administration. Accent supports part-time or full-time placements, job shares and flexible working – with facilities for rotation management and placement planning and administration. Budgets and entitlement can be managed from Accent, including uploading and processing expenses, recording exam and course attendance, leave administration and leave approval chain management.
Accent promotes workforce and organisation goals through support for assessments and appraisals, facilitating assessment event planning (including facilities, venues and assessment panels), the tracking of assessments and the functions to monitor progress against core competencies. Questionnaires can also be developed and distributed via Accent, with a user-defined ‘question bank’, and questions linked to permissible responses. To help organisation reach their workforce goals, Accent’s reporting and analysis features allow for the production, saving and sharing of user-defined queries, reports, outputs and graphs – in addition to a comprehensive set of fixed performance and operations reports – which can be explored using powerful data analytics capabilities.
