    Patient Flow Transformation

    VitalHub UK’s PFT 2024: A Resounding Success

A reminder of why we do what we do.

Just 3 weeks ago, on the 17th July 2024, we held our 3rd annual Patient Flow Transformation conference, and I think it’s safe to say that it was an incredible success. The event saw us bring together healthcare professionals, innovators, and thought leaders from across the industry, all focused on sharing best practice and peer-to-peer learning to improve service delivery. In fact, it was our highest attended event to date with over 180 NHS delegates, as well as over 65 industry professionals from both the VHUK team and other leading suppliers.

However, this year’s event was more than just a platform for showcasing advanced technological solutions; it was a heartfelt reminder of why we do what we do. To bring human connection to a digital world. To tell the stories that matter, the stories that make a difference, and remind us all of the impact we can have on people’s lives.

We wanted to emphasise that, together, we can help rewrite those stories to create positive outcomes for patients, as well as those around them.

Bringing Patient Stories to the Forefront

One of the most compelling aspects of the Patient Flow Transformation 2024 event was the emphasis on patient stories. These narratives were not just shared as anecdotes but were integral to understanding the impact of healthcare innovations. By highlighting real-world experiences, the event underscored the human element of healthcare, reminding us all of the lives touched and transformed by our efforts.
Patients and families of the VHUK team shared their journeys through heartfelt videos played throughout the day, illustrating the significant impact that the NHS has had on their health and their lives as a whole. These stories provided a powerful context for the technological discussions, emphasising the ultimate goal of our work – enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

“Wonderful to see the patient stories this year, and personal experiences. Really focused the day!”

Driving Human Connection in a Digital World

In an era where digital transformation is paramount, our Patient Flow Transformation 2024 event showcased how technology can foster human connections rather than diminish them. The event featured interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and panel discussions that allowed for meaningful exchanges between attendees.
By leveraging digital tools to facilitate these interactions, we were able to demonstrate that technology can enhance, rather than replace, personal connections. The event helped bridge the gap between digital innovation and human touch, showing how integrated systems can support healthcare providers in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

    Inspiring Speakers

The event was graced by an array of inspiring speakers who shared their insights and expertise:

    • Giles Duley MBE, an English portrait and documentary photographer, chef, writer, CEO and presenter, kicked off the day with our keynote session by inspiring us all with his incredible stories of resilience and perseverance and how we can remove barriers to empower others.
